Job Description:

The Hair Stylist at Lotus Salon Company is responsible for providing high-quality hair care and styling services to clients while ensuring excellent customer service and upholding the brand standards of Lotus. This role requires advanced technical expertise, trend awareness, and leadership in mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

​

Technical Services:

• Provide professional haircuts, coloring, highlights, keratin treatments, hair spa, blow-drying, and styling services.

• Analyze clients’ hair conditions and recommend suitable services and products.

• Ensure all treatments and services meet hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

• Keep updated with the latest hair trends, tools, techniques, and products.

Client Interaction & Satisfaction:

​

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by offering expert advice and exceptional service.

• Conduct thorough consultations with clients before treatments to understand their expectations.

• Handle client feedback professionally and resolve any issues promptly.

• Upsell salon services and products by educating clients about benefits and usage.

​

Team Leadership & Mentoring:

​

• Guide and support junior stylists, assistants, and interns.

• Conduct internal training sessions and workshops for new techniques and product knowledge.

• Assist the salon manager in maintaining staff discipline and productivity.

​

Salon Operations:

​

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of styling stations, tools, and equipment as per company standards.

• Ensure all appointments are managed efficiently and clients are not kept waiting.

• Assist in inventory management of hair care products and styling tools.

• Maintain service records and client preferences in the salon management system.

​

Sales & Business Contribution:

​

• Achieve personal and salon revenue targets through services and retail sales.

• Participate in promotional events, campaigns, and brand-building activities.

• Contribute feedback for improving service menus and customer experiences.

​

Requirements:

​

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in a premium salon environment.

• Professional certification or diploma in hairdressing from a recognized institution.

• Strong expertise in haircutting, coloring, chemical treatments, and bridal hair styling.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Passionate about beauty, grooming, and client satisfaction.

• Flexible to work on weekends and holidays as per salon schedules.
