Job Summary:
The Receptionist at Lotus Salon Company is the first point of contact for all clients and visitors. This role involves greeting guests, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting the smooth operation of the front desk and overall salon activities with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Desk Operations:

Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Manage incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries effectively.

Handle walk-in clients and guide them regarding services, prices, and availability.

Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area.
2. Appointment Scheduling:

Manage salon appointment bookings via phone, in person, or online systems.

Update the appointment calendar and coordinate with stylists and service staff.

Confirm bookings and send reminders to clients.
3. Client Relationship Management:

Maintain positive customer interactions to build strong client relationships.

Address client concerns or redirect them to the appropriate staff.

Promote salon services, products, and ongoing offers.
4. Administrative Tasks:

Maintain daily records of clients, appointments, and payments.

Handle billing, POS transactions, and provide receipts to clients.

Track inventory of front desk supplies and ensure availability.
5. Support Staff Coordination:

Coordinate with salon staff to manage smooth customer flow.

Ensure timely communication between clients and service providers.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Minimum 12th pass; Diploma or certification in hospitality or front office preferred.

Experience: 1+ years in a receptionist or front desk role (preferably in salon/spa/hospitality).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and basic salon management software.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pleasant personality and well-groomed appearance.
