Job Summary:

​

The Manicure & Pedicure Specialist at Lotus Salon Company is responsible for delivering professional hand and foot treatments to clients, ensuring high standards of hygiene, customer service, and client satisfaction. The specialist must be well-versed in various nail care techniques and trends, and committed to maintaining a clean and relaxing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Service:

​

• Greet clients warmly and consult to understand their nail care needs.

• Provide professional manicure and pedicure services including trimming, shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, massage, nail polishing, gel and acrylic applications.

• Suggest appropriate nail treatments and aftercare based on client requirements.

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and build client loyalty.

 

Technical Duties:

​

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nail products, trends, and techniques.

• Perform nail art and enhancements such as gel polish, French manicure, nail extensions, etc., as per client preference.

• Identify and advise on nail disorders or conditions that may require a doctor's attention.

 

Hygiene & Cleanliness:

​

• Follow strict sanitation procedures for tools, equipment, and the workstation.

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Maintain a clean and organized salon environment before, during, and after each session.

 

Retail & Sales:

• Recommend retail products to clients for home care.

• Achieve individual product sales targets where applicable.

 

Team Collaboration:

• Support other team members during peak hours and contribute to smooth salon operations.

• Participate in training, meetings, and promotional events organized by Lotus Salon Company.

 

Administrative Tasks:

​

• Maintain accurate client records.

• Manage appointment schedules efficiently through the salon’s booking system.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

​

• Proven work experience as a Manicurist/Pedicurist or Nail Technician.

• Certification in Nail Technology or Cosmetology preferred.

• Good understanding of nail care techniques and products.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.

• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
