About the Role
As a Beautician you have to be being pleasant, tactful and sensitive to customers looking for body and facial treatments.
You must also be familiar with skincare therapies such as peeling, exfoliation and moisturization.
A successful Beautician candidate will also have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include:
1. Working knowledge of beauty, wellness and cosmetic products.
2. Ability to assess and identify skin imperfections.
3. Ability to perform waxing, pedicure, manicures and nail reconstruction
4. Ability to offer personalized beauty services.
5. Knowledge of make-up application and relaxing massage techniques
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Good hand-eye coordination.
8. Professional appearance and a positive attitude
Requirements
Shampooing, cutting, styling, and coloring hair, as well as massaging and treating scalps.
Applying makeup, performing facials, and recommending skincare therapies.
Performing manicures and pedicures, nail art, and color recommendations.
